Supporting technology inspired or enabled innovation in the creative industries
Early this year, the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) launched a pilot investment programme to promote technology exploitation by small and medium sized creative industry companies.
The programme provides funding for:
• Feasibility studies - grants of up to £15,000 to help small companies develop initial ideas into something more tangible, such as a prototype or business plan to help secure further development investment
• Fast Track Projects – for collaborative projects up to the value £100, 000 with 50% grant funding for proposals that will lead to the development of new products, services or capability
The TSB joins the Creative Technology Network to give an opportunity for creative industry companies to find out more about the programme, the application process and to talk through your ideas.
The event offers:
• An introduction to the scheme
• A chance to hear from previously successful projects
• Step-by-Step guidelines to complete a successful application
• One-to-one feedback on project ideas
• IP Clinic
• Networking opportunities to help find potential partners for this or future projects
