UWE student Brennand Pierce organised the UK's first 'Robo-One' robotic martial arts competition - and won a silver award with the robot he designed himself.
Robo-One pits humanoid robots against each other using acrobatic fighting skills and special moves. Big in the USA and the Far East, the tournament was a new attraction in the annual UK Micromouse robotic championships.
