Media Sandbox 2010 update

Posted by Victoria Tillotson in News on 14.12.09

Media Sandbox launched the 2010 theme and gave a short update on timescales at the Creative Industries KTN Digital Lounge event last week.

The scheme will open for applications in February, with project selection taking place in March - keep an eye on the Media Sandbox website and sign up to the mailing list for the latest news.

Sandbox Surgeries also began last week. These drop-in sessions will be held at the Pervasive Media Studio and offer the opportunity to discuss any aspect of the scheme, such as the application process, your idea or partnerships. Surgeries will be held every thursday lunchtime until 28th January (with the exception of the 24th and 31st December). More info and registration details on the Media Sandbox events page.

If you have a brilliant idea, this might be the perfect opportunity to pursue it.

This years’ theme: Rich Pervasive Experiences

The Media Sandbox team are looking for ground-breaking ideas that dovetail mobile, wireless and sensory technologies with content and context, to create meaningful experiences.
